Raised in Manzanillo, Cuba Alejandro grew up with humble beginnings. As rough as life was in Cuba, Alejandro managed to save up enough to buy his very own Apple computer and in 1999 at the age of fourteen he and his family moved to the States in hope of a better future. Having strong design influences in the US he was able to continued to fuel his love for design and photography in college.
Once out of school he was picked up quickly by local Miami design studios. His hard work paid off by giving him a full time internship at Crispin Porter+Bogusky where he worked on brands such as American Express, Jose Cuervo and Microsoft. He continued his love for design in the northeast by accepting a job at Droga5 where he spent two years. After building up a solid book he then was called back to CP+B, this time in Los Angeles where he was a key designer in the LA office, working on brands such as Old Navy, Domino’s Pizza, Applebee’s and Turkish Airlines to name a few.
In 2014 he brought his love for design and immense work experience to R/GA LA where he continues to help build brands and as a Sr. Designer. Outside of striving for design greatness Alejandro has built himself as a connoisseur of great coffee. Cuban is best of course.
